This jeweler's tool is used for the removal of veneer pin nails that secure layers of veneer together during the scroll saw cutting process. This particular nipper can easily and safely remove cardboard imbedded and 'clenched over' nails from the veneer packet without damaging the veneer. Do not clip the nails, but dig down into the cardboard backer to pry the nail up straight, and lever or draw the nail out without clipping it off, but ….
